Buckie Thistle Football Club are delighted to announce the award of Life Membership of the club to our 'Club Shop Chief' and 'Hospitality High Heid Yin' Lynne Sutherland.

The award recognises the dedication and hard work that Lynne has put into the club since joining in 2011.

Lynne started running the club shop around season 2013/14 and plays a big part in organising and running Matchday Hospitality in the ACE Winches Lounge, amongst other duties.

"Sudsette" (you're welcome, Lynne ;-) ) is a Buckie quine and has followed The Jags since the 1970s, she even remembers watching Club Secretary Davie Pirie in a green and white shirt!

One of her fondest memories is hanging about for ages after a game at Victoria Park in 1978 to get Scotland goalkeeper Alan Rough's autograph, also when one of Findochty's famous sons George Alec Cowie came up for a friendly with the mighty West Ham.
